Of Poseidon by Anna Banks
Emma has had a rough summer, to say the least. What started with her head-butting what had to be the hottest guy in the planet and making a fool out of herself in front of his sister gradually funneled into Emma watching her best friend get brutally attacked and almost completely eaten by a shark. Naturally, she wants nothing and no one to remind her of that horrific day. When Galen came to the shore to live with the humans, he had no idea that he would create such an immediate and powerful bond with a total stranger. The day that Emma runs into him on the beach (literally) leaves Galen convinced that she is the one. But will he be able to convince her? More importantly, will he be able to persuade Emma to confront her feelings and open up to him? Little does Emma know that in her lies the key to the future, and the key to Galen's heart.
