Where the Heart is
I was assigned the book "Where The Heart Is" in my tenth grade English class. When i began reading the book i thought it was very boring and it did not catch my interest at all, but after a couple chapters i realized that it was more boring than i thought.
This book is all about a pregnant seventeen year old girl named Novalee that is left behind at a Wal-Mart and ends up having her baby there. For the next seven years she overcomes many tragedies and makes many friends along the way. Throughout the book she also tries to discover what family is and what she would call home.
Overall this book was very disappointing and left me hanging. I would not reccomend this book to anybody unless you can withstand 350 boring pages.
