A field of shattered dreams, or a field of broken hope
A World undergoing agony, or a world where we can cope
A life we live so violent, or a life where we can love
Being at war with ourselves, or bringing peace from up above
Thoughts can kill mentally, as they come out good or bad
I Dont understand this world, and why it seems so sad
We are all alike, i don't know why we slur
There words of wit so forceful, when these bad times in life stir
It's amazing what surroundings, can do to a persons mind
Thinking about the future, wondering why the the past has left you blind
