The Ocean
At the ocean
I feel the sand
and the water
rushing through my hand
I see the shells
being pushed by the waves
and chirping seagulls
not knowing how to behave
I feel the seaweed
Oh so slimy and soft
and watch the kites
fly gently aloft
I watch the kids
go splish splash
the greens and blues
having a bash
When I go the the ocean
this is what I see
When I go to the ocean
I get filled with glee
