My soul is crying
And help it seeks
My voice is low
And body weak

Too afraid to speak a word
Not knowing the response
If it had ever heard

Trying to resist
It’s array of darkness
I close my eyes and soon
Become restless

Reality is in play
When the dream is done
Always wishing for a chance to run

To escape the evils
That it may bring
Finally express the pain
I’m concealing

Fooling others with
My innocent smiles
Covering up the tears
That stretch for miles

Scars are left behind
From it’s frightening lashes
I break out in tears
And my brain just crashes

My heart starts pumping
And my mouth becomes dry
My knees starts trembling
As I let out a cry

My eyes fill up
With sadness and hate
I wish I could change
My future and fate
I’ll never forget
The pain it brought me
It left me alone
In misery

OMG!!!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!! It has so much emotion.  Whoever wrote this should DEFINITELY submit it into a contest or something!!! You would totally win!!! (Oh and I obviously don't know you, but I have a feeling you would be my friend if only I knew you...)
