"I Promise."

I wrote your promise on my hand.
I hope it lasts.
I hope it stands.
And if somehow I lose my way,
I'll check my hand
and be okay.
When I wrote your promise
on my hand,
I wished it'd last.
I thought it'd stand.
Yet oddly now,
it's rinsed away.
But you're still here.
I'll be okay.
And don't you worry.
It helped me out.
More than you know.
Without one doubt.

WOW. The rythm was very, very good. This is a poem I can definitely relate to!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!

woah. very extremely amazing. :) i realy like this it reminds me of a quote thing of myhotcomments.. it said like i wrote ur name in the sand but the wave washed it awya.. i wrote ur name on my hand but i washed it the next day. i wrote ur name in my heart, forver it will staay

This poem really spoke to me, and it shows me how much the relationship between you and the person this poem's for means to you. I love this, and I've read some of your other works and you're really good! Keep it up, and I'm sure your writing will get you somewhere. :)
