A Different World
I climb up the hill closing my eyes
I allow sounds to guide me
The soft swish of the river tells me when to turn
Soothing wistles encourage me to keep going
Leaves dance around my feet anticipating my next move
I take in the wind letting it fill my lungs
The elements of the land help me take my next step
My eyelids lift their restraints...
I am granted the privlige of seeing my gardians
I appreciate the beauty of an untouched world
I hold my breath as I soak it all in
Never wanting the moment to pass...
I press it into my memory were it can be saved
Forever
