Hybrids
Hybrids
Hybrid cars are changing how we look at transportation as a whole. Record gas prices have made people care less about horse power and more about efficiency. Hybrids have many benefits over gas powered vehicles. They can save a person thousands of dollars a year in fuel costs. They can reduce the amount of harmful gases that gas powered cars release into the atmosphere, and they can reduce the demand for petroleum imports, thus reducing the overall price of gasoline here in America. By reducing the countries need for petroleum products by going hybrid, we might be able to improve our economy dramatically because we are no longer dependent on other countries to provide us with our fuel. So in my opinion, I believe that hybrid vehicles can improve the American economy in more ways that one, with almost no side effects.
