The Innocent Man is a non-fiction novel written by John Grisham. It describes the trial and tribulations of Ron Williamson, a young man wrongly convicted of a murder in the small town of Ada, Oklahoma.

Grisham uses a different type of writing style by switching the context between the many different characters and the time period, as the novels events take place throughout his lifetime from 1953 to 2004.
