Number The Stars
In the book Number The Stars I enjoyed reading about real people and real events. I learned a lot about the Nazis and Jewish people. I also liked the book because it is based on a true story about the Holocaust.
There is a war going on against the Nazis and the Jews of Denmark. Annemarie the main character, was asked to go on a dangerous mission was given to her by her mother to deliver a package to her uncle. The package had a handkerchief that killed a dogs sent of smell and was used for protecting people hiding in her uncles boat. The themes in the book are war and survival. Annemarie has to survive the war and the invasion of the Nazis.
I would recommend this book to people who like books with actual existing people and real events that happened before. Also people who like adventurous book.
