Born in Sin by EveLyn
Born in Sin was written by EveLyn. The point of this book was to express that someone doesn’t need to be smart to be successful.
Keisha faces a lot of challenges and it is very hard to face them because she is an African American Girl. She dreams of being an artist. She also ends up becoming the first African American girl swimming in the Olympics.
She would always doubt herself, but I knew she could make it because she was a very bright girl. Everyone can make it if they try hard enough.
To be honest I do believe the author has achieved her goal. The author uses a lot of detail to express Keisha’s feelings and thoughts.
