Sad Song (A Poor Man's Wishes)
No fault in the demise of the wicked
'cause the good ones always fall first
open wounds, no operations
my chosen battlefield
life source, straight from the bottle
drowning in age old sorrow
solemn, broken a poor man's dreams
talented in an art form
lost it all to the bread and baker
lost it all to the sin taker
lost it all never going back...
No reason to cry for the savior
'cause the good ones always fall first
open hearts, no coperation
our sultry battlefield
back when we went straight for the hills
drowning in eroding sorrow
melancholy, a young soul's dreams
elastic in old poetry
lost it all to the bread and baker
lost it all to the sin taker
lost it all never going back...
can never go back...
