Tumbling Towers
The love we built
Oh it was strong
It was like a tower
Back when forever wasn’t long
Everything else might fall,
But I knew it would remain
Like a tower made of stone,
But it came tumbling down like rain
Out of the ashes I rebuilt a tower
Around my broken heart
Love would never find its way in
I was looking for an end with nowhere to start
The tower I built
Oh it could never fall
But I looked into your eyes
And then I saw it all
I gave you my heart
You gave me your love
With each stone you tore down
I thank God up above
For tumbling towers
