Walls
Walls surround my heart
To protect me from you
A fortress that I've made
Because you broke me in two
I have my walls
To mask my pain
For I hurt too much
I shouldn't be sane
My mind, it is shattered
Behind my precious walls
I'm picking up the pieces
But my voice still echoes through the halls
Why must I hide
Who I really am?
Because you broke me
I've been torn in half
You stabbed me through the heart
Then poured salt on the wound
That's why I have my walls
And they aren't coming done anytime soon

I was bored one night, and I hadn't had the best of days. Then I remebered a friendship that went bad. I statrted writing and this poem is what came out.
