the cherry blossom tree in the
backyard looks lonely. nobody
breathes life into it anymore.
but it looks
alright
at 2 a.m. i can’t stop releasing you onto
paper. you are creating ink clots in my blood.

does your wrist hurt like mine?
does your heart hurt like mine?
