Avoid the things around me

I've been walking for thousands of miles
In the same shoes, never stopping, never changing
My feet are starting to kill
The tear stains on my cheeks burn in the light
When I try to run I end up tripping and falling too hard and take too long to get back up...
So I try to just lay there, avoid the things around me
Yet everyone notices me and tries to get involved
Try to get me back up... Or kick me down further
So I just lay there, avoid the things around me.
Screams... Silence.
