I want to marvel
I want to catch a raindrop on my tongue,
and ride the amusement park carousel;
to stand on a ladder's top rung.
I want to sing instead of speak,
I want to dance and run and shout!
When things don't go my way to stomp my feet and shriek,
let it all out
I want to be distracted so that I might
dream at night.
