General Washington on the prow of a boat,
His fleet full of us, the courageous Soldiers.
We the Soldiers who are unafraid;
Unafraid to die because of the passion in our hearts
A lone boy cries as the battle rages on.

Why should we fight the damned souls that have already been determined,
And condemned to the depths of Hell!
Our families and men suffer because of this bloody war!
Will this treachery not end?
We are in this boat tonight awaiting yet another battle to diminish our army,
A lone boy cries as the battle rages on.

We hear each other's panicked breathing,
As the same thoughts crowd our minds:
Will I live to see the next sunrise upon this God-forsaken world?
A tiny but significant sign of hope lifts our hearts;
The lights of destiny as a sign of blessing from the Lord, Himself!
A lone boy cries as the battle rages on.

Will He, Himself look down upon us and laugh, cry, or stare,
In shame, pity, love or hate?
Will His heart be on our side, in our own hearts and minds?
We hang our heads in anticipation, waiting to get our early morning orders.
Men are about playing cards, taking a last drink together, but most:
Most pray.
A lone boy cries as the battle rages on.

The sureness of death crashes before our eyes with the fate of the Heavens above.
We all wish for our own purity of sins,
Before we meet our maker.
We all feel our unity in each man around us,
Courage is love; Love for our men,
And for the predetermined fate of
The lone boy who cries as our battle rages on.
