A town is hidden in the shadows of fangs and claws,
Living in fear of a dragon's mighty jaws.
You quake as the news of the dragon's demands rush through town.
It wants a tasty little girl in a lovely evening gown.

You're scared,
By the Supremacy of the Beast.

The people talk about what to do,
Who to pick, what would ensue.
The conversation finally falls down to exactly who,
And after long consideration, they finally pick you.

You're chosen,
For the Supremacy of the Beast.

The tailors and servants flitter and flut,
As fear and nervousness hit you like a punch to the gut.
You're wrapped in ribbon and lace,
Made to look pretty for the dragon you'll face.

You're prepared,
For the Supremacy of the Beast.

You're led to darkest cave,
Your people you're here to save.
Bonds hold you to sacrificial stake,
Leaving you a meal for the hungry drake.

You're sacrificed,
To the Supremacy of the Beast.

The evil lizard crawls from out of his lair,
His hot breath blowing back your hair.
He grins at the sight of you, displaying his maw.
He tilted you forward, the gleaming teeth the last thing you saw.

You're killed,
For the Supremacy of the Beast.

haha, another 5 stars for you.....i admit i started out thinking that "you" would defeat the beast, but i like it so much better without the sappy hero.

Thanks Mike! Now that you mention it, it does remind me of "Jabberwocky".

If "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carroll were to make a baby with "Number of the Beast" by Iron Maiden than this would be the baby.  I like it, really good poem bro.
