the sound of the Enviroment
The enviroment is in constant motion.
Change occurs as we speak.
But are we thankful for our surroundings,
or have we even taken the time to think?
While our mothers sang us lullabys until we fell asleep.
What about mother nature, and its perfect lull to every peep.
May it be rain on the window that your bed lays against,
or the frogs and the crickets that lye around your fence.
The beauty in the sound, like never before.
Creates an excitement to go to sleep, so that you can hear more.
What about the children who don't hear songs from the yard.
But rather war surrounds them left and right, near and far.
They can't hear the crickets sound, a chance to be lulled to sleep.
Instead the sound of conflict, is every peep.
Knowing that making it through the night, is a constant struggle and
a never ending fight. But here we lye beneath a blanket of stars. Listening
to crickets and frogs near and far. Often forgetting to thank the Lord for His blessings.
