My beginning to the end
“I love you.” I whispered under my breath as I walked away I could not find the strength to look back. His eyes a dark brown that sparkle in the light, his touch shattering as he held me. My eyes could not hide what I felt and I simply wept as he held me. I stood there and cried as he wrapped his arms around me. “I’m sorry….” He softly whispered into my ear, “Please don’t cry.” He said as he looked into my eyes with pleading eyes, “How can I not cry when I know that you are leaving..?” I said as I sobbed into his shoulder.
Nothing.
That’s all I heard because he knew that there was nothing that he or I could do. He had to go and I didn’t want that. He was me everything. As I walked away, I began to remember… A memory, a vivid dream almost. A room full of pictures and four walls that contained the world… Until it all came crashing down. Frame after frame and shattered glass everywhere.
