Sammy
I agree with Chris that Sammy Sosa was an incredible baseball player and even a better person. He had a hard life growing up in the Dominican Republic and had to overcome many obstacles. One of the biggest was the loss of his father when he was only seven. Sammy didn¡¯t start playing the game of baseball till he was 14. He worked hard at learning the game and getting better at it just like everything else he did.
I believe that Sammy Sosa will, someday, be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He deserves it for all he has done on and off the field. He donates large amounts of money to charities in his home country. There are many good players that have came from the Dominican Republic and many more will because of the efforts of one man.
