Drowning
I can feel the water entering my lungs, the burning sensation as I struggle to breath. My energy creeping away, I stop attempting to escape. I know the bonds tying me will not break. Sinking, my eyes start to flutter to a close, the burning almost ignorable now, nearly gone. I know this means I'm close to death, but I'm happy, it means the pain will go away.
Blackness starts to steal the world from around me, my whole world falling apart, dragging me with it.

Based on drowning (obviously). I don't think much people are aware of how painful drowning would be, it's right up there on the top worst ways to die, along with being burnt alive, and buried alive. Deep waters are one of my worst fears, so drowning kind of links with it. I feel really sorry for anyone who dies from drowning, as I truly hate deep waters and the concept of drowning all together.
Hope you enjoy reading it!!!
