Opening scene

Lights open to a man sitting at the front right corner of the stage. legs dangling over the stage to make it appear that he is sitting on the edge of a wall

Man: -Singing a nice tune-
Woman: Troy what are you doing?
Man: Remembering the good old days of high school with my best friends.

Man stands up and walks toward woman.

Man: Gabriella i’m sad high schools over and can’t help but miss chad zeke and ryan.
Woman: I know how you feel i miss Taylor Martha and Kelsey like crazy but we need to move on. We have big careers now. You're shooting a new movie and so am I. Our lives are bigger and better now that high schools over.

Man runs over to woman. Lights follow and he grabs her arm lightly but enough for her to know he’s serious.

Man: I cant forget what happened to all of us! It changed my life! High school were the best 4 years of my life. I dont know about you but i cant just forget something like that.

Violins start to play a sad tune

Woman: Troy please we need to move on we have great lives ahead of us. High school was just a little part of our lives together. Were getting married in a few months and then after that we can start a family. You just need to look at the bigger picture.

Woman kisses man on the cheek and walks off the stage.

Man: What even happened to being in this together.

Lights dim and music ends.
