Tropical Snowstorm
Last night I dreamt I was at the bottom of Lake Michigan
4,165 blue whales twirled and twisted above
The loch ness monster loomed in the shadows
I swam to the surface to see a Jamaican blizzard
Snow piled up on the white sand beaches
I swam to the coast, shivering
Walked towards the resort planted on the newly snow covered beach
Reached for the door handle, “Heads Up!”
I got shoved to the side, landing in a deep forest green bush
Crash, I looked to see a giant icicle shattered on the floor where I was standing
“Hello darling”, said George washington as he lended me a hand
“Sup” I said, “estoy bien” he replied
Avoiding the smashed icicle, we made it inside
The warmth seeped through my skin into my heart
Vincent Van Goh stood in the entry making new design plans
Ahead, warm fireplaces battled the frigid weather
Cooks served fresh chocolate chip pancakes
So many crazy things happening
I dreamt this last night
