August 2022 Fiction Contest: Portals
I step into the glowy purple portal. The world spins a bit before I step out again. The ground is soft and fluffy and the sky is glowing. I look around at all the people with wings and tusks and other odd features. I see one person in particular that catches my eye. An older man with stars in his skin and a veil over his face. His Wings a galaxy and his antlers click over to me. I race towards him and he opens his arms embracing me in a hug. It is always nice to come visit my father.
