Saving Private Ryan MAG
Itseems that most war movies have made war seem glamorous or lackconsequences. Not "Saving Private Ryan." This film is by farmy favorite war film, not because I like the topic, but it made merealize the negative effects war has on a person. The film is set inWorld War II. From those I've talked to who actually fought in that war, this film is very realistic.
While it is not one to watch if youhave a weak stomach, I recommend every American see it so they can seefirsthand what our men went through to ensure the freedom of Europeanstoday. I don't think many Americans realize what a big sacrifice theymade. This movie brings that out in a very real way.
