Holes
In Holes, Louis Sachar has created a humorous crime story about a teen. Stanley Yelnats, who is the main character of the story, is curse. The curse began with his great-great grandfather, and now he is sentenced to a boys' detention center for a crime that he was innocent from. Camp Green Lake where there is no lake, he and other boys are sent to the deserted lake to dig five feet wide and five feet deep holes all day. Stanley and the boys are digging holes because the warden is looking for something. Stanley then tries to figure out the truth of why they are digging holes in the deserted lake. Its not to long till Stanley Yelnats finds out the truth.
This book is an interesting story from begging to end. This story has so many interesting events that happen to Stanley and the other characters that are also in the story. I recommend this book to people who love to read books.
