The Dead End by Mimi McCoy
Have you ever had the best summer plans ever ruined because you have to move? Cassie did, she was going to go to parties, hanging out with boys and going to sleepovers. Then she had to move; she was so upset.
When she got to the new house she was looking through a box of books. Cassie found one that said diary and on the inside it said “ Millicent Amelia Hughes.” She started reading the diary got so frightened when she read one diary entry. In the entry Millie said she had a nightmare of a fire that burned her house. The night that Cassie read the entry her house lit on fire. Cassie was so afraid that everything that happened to Millie is going to happen to her. Cassie tries to figure out how Millie died.
