Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel by Jeff Kinney
The book I read was Diary if a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel. It is the 7th out of the 8 books Jeff Kinney has published. It is about a dance coming up and Greg needs a date.
So as Greg’s uncle has started to stay with him and all he does is get an allowance and play on Greg’s computer. In school a dance has come up and Greg is scrambling to get a date to it. It has him scrambling for a date with Abigail.
I think this book is good enough for kids 6-13. It would be a good 5th grade learning book. Some humor is good, some of it not so much. I think this diary of a Wimpy Kid book was not as good as the others I have read. It is still a good book to read in your free time. It still gets 3 out of 5 stars.
My conclusion of the story would be that it is a good kid’s book and that adults can read it too. It may seem like a boring book at the beginning, but trust me it gets better, after he gets advice from his uncle he goes to school and tries it and it does not work out to well. So tries a different topic by sending one to a girl and he asks them. When he goes into school that day he finds out no, but will he find a girl to the dance on time?
