Divergent by Veronica Roth
I have seen many people read Divergent, and I thought it looked very interesting. I know there is a movie coming out and I wanted to see the movie, so I decided to read the book before I read the movie.
Divergent is a book about a young girl who has a very dangerous secret. If anyone finds out her secret, she will most likely die. She is different from all the others. Being divergent is rare. It means that your brain thinks differently than others. There are 5 factions that she must chose, Candor, Abnegation, Dauntless, Amity, and Erudite. Coming from a very strict and proper faction, she chose Dauntless. Dauntless is very dangerous, and dare-devil like. In this novel she must makes decisions no young girl should have to make.
This book is the best book I have ever read. It kept me on the edge of my seat almost every time I read it. It is very adventurous, yet at the same time a bit romantic. I’m not a very huge reader at all, but this book made me want to keep reading.
In conclusion, this is an amazing book and I recommend it for everyone, especially if you are going to go see you movie. This is an inspiring book that is great for all ages and should be read.
