Running.

What must it feel like to not have a home?

What must it feel like to know you are not safe?

Maya and her friends are on the run. They start out as eight and are progressively reduced to three as sharpshooters and scientists cut them down. Maya, along with the rest of the group, is special. She has abilities normal people don’t, and it all comes down to the strange paw-shaped birthmark she has on her hip; she can see better, hear better, run faster, and become someone…something…else. Suddenly thrust into a position where she must be responsible for seven other kids, Maya has no one to turn to. By working together, maybe…just maybe…they’ll all be able to make it out of this alive.

Just maybe.
