The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith
“He was tired of living among the shadows, he wanted to see the light without hiding under his sun-glasses.” Stefan moved to Fells Church , Virginia and when he did he had no idea that he would fall in love with a human. Elena is the perfect good girl that get’s all the guys. ( I’m sure every girl dreams of getting every guy in school.) Little did Stefan know his older brother Damon was following him. Matthew Honeycutt ( Elena’s Ex-boyfriend) is a little bit shocked when Elena starts going out with Stefan and Damon. When Elena finds out that they have a HUGE secret……. THEY ARE BOTH VAMPIRES! And have been for the past 500 years they got turned by a girl vampire named Katherine. Hence the title is “ The Vampire Diaries”. So naturally Elena freaks out. When she turns in to a vampire everyone freaks out as well. This book is the perfect mix of emotions. So Damon wants her to be his princess of darkness. Stefan is out to kill him. Damon runs off with Elena and Matt to the Dark dimension.
