Recently I read a book called Metro 2033. It is a cultural apocalyptic trilogy. This book has two more parts and it was written by Dmitry Glukhovsky. The main character is a young boy called Artom. I had never read this book before and I was amazed by it. Even a computer game is based on this book.

The book is about nuclear war which was caused by political disputes. The whole earth was attacked by rockets and razed to the ground. Fortunately, some people managed to hide in the Moscow metro where they are still surviving. There is high radiation on the surface which disfigured animals into monsters. Every day the metro residents face these monsters. But there is a boy named Artom who will save the metro.

According to me the book is excellent. I do not have anything bad to say about it. I am already looking forward to read another part.

I would recommend it to everybody who likes book about war and surviving.

I really like stories about politics and war. I think it is little bit similar to the Ukrainian war, so I look forward to reading it and comparing it with the situation in the east Europe.
