Redwall is a book written by Brian Jacques. This book is a fantasy novel taking place in the medieval times where animals can talk. Currently, there is a war between the mice and the rats. The protagonist is Matthias and Cluny is the antagonist. The title Redwall is the name of their town, also the Redwall is red. This book is a powerful look at the bonds of trust and how you can be brave against the unbeatable odds. There are some times where there's a lot of unnecessary dialogue, even though it's old times there was a lot.

Compared to the graphic novel I prefer the graphic novel more. But it's still an amazing story and I would recommend it to fantasy lovers. The book features 351 pages while the graphic novel only has 143. If you would like to sum up the book and don’t have time to read the original, the graphic novel is still as climatic and filled with action. Another thing is how they talk:some of them talk with politeness while others just talk plain rudely, but they all talk with an accent. The conflict throughout the story was really good, and kind of pieced stuff together. The story was on track and was ok to understand but one thing is that if you're not good with long chapters the graphic novel is more for you. Overall, the book was incredible and I would recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy books. I hope to read the other books as well. It was definitely a fun book to read. I felt a connection with the book having fun while learning. It being dramatic just made it that much better and even though it's just words you can see the scenarios in your head.
