You're like the flu
Much greater than the common cold
You infect people with your poison
Germs of hatred and control
You make me want to throw up
Vomit all the bad inside of me
No Tylenol or Advil could abdicate
The headache you're constantly bringing me
You make me shake, shiver, and sweat
The fever of wanting to break free
The cold of desperate fear
No chicken soup can revitalize my good cells
As long as you're here
You are truly the influenza
