Don't Wish Away Your Days
Oh darling don't wish away your days, because there aren't many left to take away.
This sweet disaster we call like, I promise you that it's worth the fight.
Yesterday is outdated and tomorrow's in progress, I know you think there's no one left to impress.
But honey put on that little black dress and reassess, let it go, all the stress and do your best.
That's all anybody ever asks there's no need to reach toward perfection, because that's just someone's perception.
At the end of the day, darling don't wish your life away.
I promise you have someone's affection, all you need is a closer inspection.
You'll make a connection, just take this as a lesson.
