Love Is Love

If love is the key to the PUREST heart,
then why do some use them as a blindfold?
Why does it hold you from falling apart?
When sometimes it leaves you alone and cold.
Why do they say that LOVE is different?
When in your eyes they all feel quite the same.
If love is what makes someone so innocent,
then why to others it feels like a game?
It seems that love is very confusing,
but then we always have to give and learn.
It HURTS but can be very AMUSING.
It's something that we HATE, but then we YEARN.
You can see and look with one eye alone,
that LOVE is LOVE even in the cold.
