Number One Hundred and Two
What comes up must come back down,
And every time I crash into the ground,
I so tired of going around,
And around,
And around,
In this cycle that will never end,
Here I go again,
Even after all those times,
I still haven’t run out of rhymes,
Cause here I am again,
Writing yet another song about you,
What’s this?
Number one hundred and two?
I’m sick of writing the same story,
It’s getting a little boring,
I wrote about all this pain,
I imagined all this rain,
Every single day,
You just like to get in my way,
You’re that character I can’t kill off,
You’re a character and we’ve all had enough,
You fill up every chapter,
Pages of just your laughter,
Even after all those times,
I still haven’t run out of rhymes,
Cause here I am again,
Writing yet another song about you,
What’s this?
Number one hundred and two?
I can’t write a love song,
Cause things have gone wrong,
I can’t sing about wanting it to last,
Cause I just want it to be in past,
But I can’t say I’m angry,
Cause you came back made me,
So confused instead,
Now those lyrics will never be read,
I wish I could just write away,
That awful day,
And leave it behind,
Oh but life never kind,
Even after all those times,
I still haven’t run out of rhymes,
Cause here I am again,
Writing yet another song about you,
What’s this?
Number one hundred and two?
