With You At My Side

I never really meant to stay
A short stop in my neverending journey.
But I think I finally found a place
A place where I belong.
I don’t have to be afraid
To tell the world who I am
Because I know
With you at my side
I can do anything.
I’m never gonna lose myself again
Never gonna let them win.
I tried so hard to just fit in
When what I was looking for
Was there the whole time.
Nothing’s ever going to be perfect
But at least I know
That it’s gonna be better,
So much better,
With you at my side.
