Favorite Quote:
Nothing matters more than those who depend on you, emotionally or physically. Even if the situation is life or death, you have to be there for them, because they need you.

You.
You threw my heart out the window
With all the trash you
Acculmulated through the years, yeah.
You.
You broke my heart that day.
Said we were too different,
Why didn't you listen to me?

When I said hey.
When I said hey.
You were my life, you were my love
And I loved for your good morning hugs, but
I was trying to be
Someone I'm not
Hoping to fit
Inside your heart.

You.
You found somebody new
And all my hopes feel down
Of us getting back together.
You.
You said that we'd be friends
Just like before when
We weren't together, listen...

When I say hey.
When I said hey.
You were my life, you were my love
And I loved for your good morning hugs, but
I was trying to be
Someone I'm not
Hoping to fit
Inside your heart.

You treat me like dirt under your feet,
But do you know I still care?
You're breaking my heart,
The part that would
Love you forever...

I say hey.
I say hey.
You were my life, you were my heart;
Friend's good enough, but you tore us apart.
You couldn't see
I was trying to be
Someone I'm not
Hoping I'd fit better
Into your heart.

I just wanted to fit
Into your heart.

My ex and I are on the same wrestling team, and at our banquet, he was just being completely rude. So when I got home, I mentally ripping him down, and I was (mentally) yelling, "You threw me out the window with the trash you've accumulated over the years!" Then I stopped and realized...that would make a great song lyric! So I wrote it out, and it came out as what was basically our relationship: me pretending to be someone I'm not, hoping he'd love me better.
Word of advice: Don't ever do that.
