I’m Chasing my story
You might think
It’s just a nighttime dream,
But to me
It’s everything
It’s why I wake up
Every morning
And hope the next chapter
Will be grand
I really don’t expect anyone else
To ever understand
But I’ll always be
Chasing my story
To find the truth
To lose the lies
To find myself
And see the light
To get everything
I need from this life
I’ll keep chasing my story.
