She is Strong
She cries in the night
Staining her pillow.
With a broken heart
She holds her head high.
Working to keep
Her heart off her sleeve.
She puts on a smile and says
"I'm fine, I'm fine."
She is strong when she falls,
And she picks herself up when on the ground.
You can't break a heart when it's already broken,
Or bring someone down when they're already on the knees.
She is strong.
She was a girl
And he was a boy.
She loaned him her heart
For just a few days,
He gave his life in return.
They wait to become one,
But the wait is too long;
And she fears she will break.
She is strong when she falls
And she picks herself up when on the ground.
You can't break a heart when it's already broken'
Or bring someone down when they're already on the knees.
She is strong.
God knows what she can handle.
He wont give her anything
That will tear her apart,
That will tear her apart.
She is strong when she falls
And she picks herself up when on the ground.
You can't break a heart when it's already broken,
Or bring someone down when they're already on the knees.
