'you touched my heart, through it's shell'

the summer’s colours
turn me black and white
in the winter
it’s the perfect situation
i give you my prettiest words
you give me patience

the winter holds us together
stuck, sticky like the very first snowfall ever
i want to be together
no matter the weather
we can last until the snow all melts
until the sun, for hours, stays out
until the temperature heats up
until our breathing stops
we can have forever
we can have this winter

streetlights catch the falling snow
in a furious, beautiful glow
we stare up because we can’t quite look at eachother
can’t risk staring forever
your eyes catch mine,
in a furious, beautiful glow
i can’t look away, at the snow
i can’t tear away from you,
you know that

the winter holds us together
stuck, sticky like the very first snowfall ever
i want to be together
no matter the weather
we can last until the snow all melts
until the sun, for hours, stays out
until the temperature heats up
until our breathing stops
we can have forever
we can have this winter

Love the imagery used here. You describe it exactly how I see it. :) Well written.
