Why do I write
I don't know what to say
I guess it's for pleasure
Instead of going out to play
It relaxes and keeps me at ease
It's the center point of my peace
Writing is my favorite thing to do
I always like to write something new
Writing keeps me happy and bright
It's the big bulb, my shinning light
It's wonderful and great
I believe writing is my fate
I truly love it
Really I do
That's why I write
