Loving the Woods on a Snowy Evening
Beneath my feet, the pristine snow,
Ahead of me, the lunar glow
On the oaks that speak silence-
I see, I feel, I touch, I sense.
It's dark, it's cold, I am but lone
In a world that I have not known
On this path that I cross each day,
Caring not for what there be may.
My love's buried deep down this scape;
For that, I try but can't escape.
When the moonblanched or dark wood creaks,
Find me hearing what my soul speaks.
The night watches one lone rider-
Some days too nigh, on some too far
From the sane, the plain of mind,
Wooing, to be with him, a star.

Inspired by Frost's 'Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening', I penned this. Happy reading☺️
