Moving On
Today I am fifteen and its another day
Another tree
Some more sweet summer breeze
All the things I could explore
A good day I implore
Another pier
Another deer
Another night filled with dread and tears
All the things I could do I wish to spend time with you
But the day marches on without me in thought
Whether or not I rise with the sun doesn't matter
Another day ( I wish I was someone else)
What can I say ( I wish I was someone else)
Another humid day in the month of June
Another bee
Another rainy day under the trees
leaves whisper by my ears
I've dried all my tears
Sunset has painted me new
I have time to spend with you
And I've turned Sixteen

This is a poem I wrote on my sixteenth birthday. fifteen was a difficult age and i think it is for a lot of people. this is about how everything begins to feel repetitive there are so many beautiful things in the world but they all seem to mesh together and end up as another thing, nothing special. But moving on from one stage of your life is realizing all the things you still have and there is always time left to enjoy the best things in life
