The Plea of the Introvert
I'm just a fly upon a wall
Above a lound and crowded hall
Looking down and seeing all
But never joining in
I'm just a little dry wallflower
Perched upon a crumbling tower
Who contemplates with passing hours
Just how alone she is
I know sometimes I seem aloof
Or like I am avoiding you
No matter how I seem, in truth
I'm really rather lonely
So if you see a little fly
Or a wallflower, small and dry
Instead of merely passing by
Please just talk to me
