I am a student named Tony
And I despise the word phony
From English class the word came
A place that should be aflame
The subject is such bologna

I hated going to that room
I’d rather sweep the school with a broom
We got some new work
Which gave me an irk
Thought this was going to be my doom

The project was on paper of blue
On how to do it I had no clue
But then I had a thought
To myself said "why not"
So now you are reading it too

At first this task seemed pretty hard
Like mowing a 10 acre yard
But now it is easy
Like drinking a Freezie
Those bad feelings I can now discard

English may not be a fun class
But here are some thoughts I can pass
Have fun when you can
Just make it less bland
And English will not seem to harass
