As sunrise draws near,
I hold this thought so dear;
it might slip away like a ghost through walls,
Past the guards and up the king's halls;
A stirring went through all the men going to battle,
they might never again see their family or cattle,
blast those invaders for stirring up trouble,
now they'd have to go out and clean up this muddle,
our swords are sharp,
our arrows are true,
into our enemies these will go through;
Our weapons drink blood in savage delight,
we must make the decision to fight;
To protect the ones whom we hod so dear,
ah.. the horn calls, he battle is near;
We march to the field, our moods very grim, then we see the valley, blood will fill it to the rim;
We can see the vultures and other birds of prey,
they could tell they were having a toast today;
We ready our weapons and prepare for the charge, yet we were still out number ten-to-one at large;
The world hold its breath for the defenders last stand, though they might perish, their tales will be grand;
Then the King bellowed in a voice heard for miles, 'Come on men, let's make this fight worthwhile!'.
